In the revelation book, there is no beast, there is no mention of a beast, it only mentions animals, just like in the story of Noah flood. Each and every animal in the revelation book has a purpose and they are not evil. Even around the throne of God there are four animals that never leave their position.
15 It was given the ability to give life to the image of the animal, so the image of the animal could speak and it saw too all where killed who would not worship the image of the animal. It makes everyone , big and small, rich and poor, free or not free put a mark on their right hand or their forehead, so that no one can buy or sell anything except the person who has its mark, the name of the animal or the numbers of its name. Here is wisdom; he who understands, calculate the number of the animal; for the number is a human name, and the number is six hundred and sixty-six.
Having the opportunity to kill the dragon, the serpent or Satan himself, instead they are handled in a way that they are as immortal as God and his angels.
1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, he holding the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He took the dragon, the old serpent, who is a devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, threw him into the abyss, locked him up and put a seal over him, so that he would not lead the nations astray until a thousand years had passed; but after that it should be dissolved for a short time.
